Hi,

We're looking to use NHibernate on a new .Net project. The production database in use at the moment is Oracle 8i. The NHibernate docs say that only 9i or 10g is supported. However, the docs also say that NHibernate uses Oracle’s Oracle.Data.OracleClient or Microsoft’s System.Data.OracleClient, both of which support Oracle 8i Release 3 or later.

So, does NHibernate support Oracle 8i, and if so are there any things we should be aware of when we eventually upgrade to 10g?
