 Post subject: Locking rows "for share" using Postgres 8.2

Aefvadh,

sadly I have not come across a feasible solution to do just that - running a query, locking the resultset for share. My current solution is a custion Dialect, overriding the ForShareNowait-string, which I never use. Although it works, i certainly do not like it very much, as it is more a very dirty hack than anything one would want to see in production code.

Is there a way to do this - nicely?
