NHibernate 1.2 is now stable! The new production version has many improvements and features requested by our users in practically every functional area.

My blog post has more details about the new features. The migration guide lists all breaking changes between version 1.0 and 1.2.

Generally Available, also known as final or stable. See http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=JBossProductVersioning

Thanks, Sergey, your blog post is very helpful. Would it be possible to include it in the release notes, linked prominently from the main NHibernate page? When I saw that 1.2 was released the first thing I wanted to know was "OK, is there anything in it that would make it worthwhile upgrading?" The changelog is far too detailed and technical to easily answer that question. What I really needed to read was "generic collections, nullable types and stored procedures supported, performance improved, etc."

I've been using the 1.2 release for a while now and find it very useful and stable. Do you guys have any timeframe set for the next release and a list of features you'll be including?

Thanks
