Please help me converting List or ArrayList which is the format return by hql query to Dataset so that my web service return Dataset to the user's end.Currently I'm using XMLInclude to convert List into XML Data.But I want to return Dataset from the web service.

Why don't you just return your array of objects?
That is a lot more meaningful than a dataset.
