Hi,

Lately we've been exploring the possibility to use NHibernate in a future project, but we can't quite get to our goal without support for entity-name. We're stuck with a legacy schema where multiple tables map to a single class. I've done some research on this forum, and I've seen that this issue has been brought up in the past, but that it isn't currently implemented.

Does anyone out there have a good work-around, a patch maybe, or some other input. If not, how much code work do you estimate it would take? We might consider implementing this ourselves, and contribute the code if that's our only solution.

If I understand you correctly, what you need is actually the <join> element. It is not in 1.2 but it has been implemented in the current trunk. See JIRA issue 466.
