In the documentation, CreateSqlQuery is being used to return the instances of the types. Can I return integers, strings as well? Something like this:

Code:
IQuery q = session.CreateSqlQuery("select {id} from table", "id", typeof(string));

q.List();

But nhibernate comes back with "Unknown entity class: System.String" error. I am pretty sure you cannot do what I am trying to do, but can someone confirm that this is not possible?

Thanks
