Hi all,

We are starting a new project and we will be using NHibernate.

We used NHibernate 1.0.3.0 in our last project. We also use a lot of Castle stuff. We use:

Castle.DynamicProxy.dll
Castle.Facilities.NHibernateIntegration.dll
Castle.Windsor.dll

Can we use NHibernate 1.2 with these projects?

Castle has an RC2 release. Should I use this instead?

Thanks

Paul

I think, you should use the one packaged with NHibernate.

Now, I want to invert the question and ask the NHibernate team:

In 1.2 Beta3 there is the version 1.1.5.0 packaged. Do you intend to upgrade to version 2.0.0.0?

It would be useful because DynamicProxy RC2 should support generic methods on the entities.
If you don't upgrade, is it uncritical to replace the packaged version of DynamicProxy?

Rob

No, we don't plan to upgrade at this time because the last time I checked, DynProxy2 did not support the way NHibernate uses proxies.
