NHibernate 1.2.0.Beta2 released, containing mostly bug fixes and a few new features. See the release notes for more details.

Breaking changes from Beta1:
  • XML schema versions have been changed from 2.0 to 2.2.
  • This version includes an updated Castle.DynamicProxy library. However,
its maintainers have not changed the version number with the update. Remember
to update Castle.DynamicProxy when updating NHibernate from an earlier version.

Thanks for the relatively quick turn around between Beta 1 and Beta 2, Sergey! We very much appreciate your efforts on this project! (As do all my company's clients - unbeknownst to them! ;)

There is another little breaking change (in NHibernate.Mapping.Attributes) that isn't in the release notes:

AttributeIdentifierAttribute's place holder is now specified using {{XXX}} (NH-806).

Anybody succeeded in calling Oracle SP?
Specifically returing ref cursor as output parameter.

I've been using NHibernate Beta2 with generics for a couple of weeks now. I'ts impressive. I've also coded for my first nullable type today and that works as expected. I haven't had any problems with the beta (some slight remapping from Beta1) but otherwise things have been very smooth.

Yes. NHibernate 1.2 with generics is working like a charm except for a minor implementation detail with updating policy via sprocs here at my company.

I'm pushing for a change to the policy due to nhibernate's productivity gains though... ;-)
