I am registering the isnull sql server function which takes 2 params, delimited by a comma between the params. However, HQL doesn't like the comma. It seems to only like functions registered via RegisterFunction as long as the function only accepts one parameter, such as RTRIM.

For example:
SELECT isnull(fld,1) will trigger error.

SELECT RTRIM(fld) will work.

Is this a bug?

AFAIK is a limitation in HQL. It only accepts functions with one argument
