MSSQL 2005 now supports binary data up to 2G.

The MSSQL 2000 dialogue however sets the max to 8000K.

Short of hacking the dialect, or turning a serializable object into a BLOB,

can anyone recommend an elegant solution to this problem.

(and yes, I do have objects that are larger than 8000K that make sense to serialize )
