Run "nant visual-studio" to generate AssemblyInfo.cs files before compiling.

SVN repository access details are given here:

Is there a way to do it with Visual Studio, or, do you need Nant?

You need NAnt.

There are my experiences. You don't need NAnt principally. You can make AssemblyInfo.cs files by hand. But, of course, with NAnt it could be done quicker and more elegant. For compiling, you need Visual Studio OR NAnt. Thanks to all for help.

AFAIK, You should be able to build WITHOUT Visual Studio. MSBuild should be ebought.

I just deleted all the AssemblyInfo.cs files in the Visual Studio projects and then it built OK. I created one manually for the main project though. It would be nice to not have to do that though.
