I just realized that enums work right out of the box. I don't even think the Java version of Hibernate supports this yet does it? The last I remember, you had to implement a lot of custom code to get it to work.

I just wanted to thank the developers of NHibernate. I'm just getting into DB programming in ASP.NET coming from the Java world and NHibernate has already come to the rescue. After using Hibernate in Java, it would be a real step backwards to have to program ADO.NET directly.
