Will NHibernate natively uses .NET 2.0 features?
Strong-typed Generics collection, Nullable Types, etc?

What's the time plan?

Hi Norman,

.NET 2.0 implements the generic connections and produces the same IL code as a normal collection, so the behind the scenes stuff NHibernate does still works.

I don't know when they're doing nullable types, but some guy called James Avery (thanks James) took the time to patch it to work if you feel like getting your hands dirty:

Cheers.

Oops, sorry it doesn't support generic collections. Sorry.

You may look at:

Btw, is what Ayende Rahien made in the "official" NHibernate version or is it a "custom branch version" of his own?

If NHibernate collections uses thing like System.Collections.ObjectModel.CollectionBase<T>, we can get "strong typed" object from the collection. No need for casting.

The Nullable Type as well. It is needed.
