Need help with Hibernate? Read this first:
http://www.hibernate.org/ForumMailingli ... AskForHelp

Hibernate version:1.2 alpha

What happens with the second level cache when an object is saved or updated? In my tests, when I'm trying to read an object after these operations(save, update) the object is not found in the cache and the database is accessed again.

Is this normal? If yes, why not update the cache and bring data from it?

Thanks.
