I am making a series of tutorials on NHibernate.
I try to make it as practical as possible and explain every step.

You can download the first tutorial here:
http://nhibernate.sourceforge.net/NHibernateEg.zip
It contains the HTML documents, the binaries and the source code.

You can also read the tutorials online:
http://nhibernate.sourceforge.net/NHibernateEg/

I am waiting your comments :)

For people who want to review it.
You can put your comments directly in the tutorials (HTMLs in /doc/) and the source code (C# files):
- Open them with Microsoft Word, enable "Track changes" (in the Tools menu)
- Do all the changes you want and add comments
- Save the result (as Word document for source code files)

You can comment absolutely anything: The general presentation/organization, the explanations and even the typos.
And you can also add the information you think are missing.

When you are done, zip all documents and send them in my mailbox :)

Thanks :)

Thanks for the great tutorial! I just wanted to clarify a reference in it, as I thought it was a bit ambiguous. In the tutorial, in the introduction to mapping attributes http://nhibernate.sourceforge.net/NHibernateEg/NHibernateEg.Tutorial1A.html#NHibernateEg.Tutorial1A-Order), you write

Quote:
Read NHibernate mapping reference documentation to understand their meaning.

I am not certain to which document you are referring, and I was unable to discover any specific information on mapping attributes either on the site or in the tutorial ZIP file.

Am I being dense?

Thanks for your help!

Gene

Gene, I moved your post here: NHibernate.Mapping.Attributes.JoinedSubclass usage

Please, create new topics for your own problems (not directly related to this tutorial).
