I'm still learning NHibernate, but as I move forward picking it up, I'd love to contribute in some way to the project. I don't consider myself a genius programmer of any sort, and I'm fairly unfamiliar with the NHibernate codebase, so I'm not sure how much (for now) I'd be able to help by actually writing code; however, I do have experience writing documentation, and I'd love to be able to help out with the NHibernate docs.

A couple of questions:

* Who is doing the docs now? Who should I contact?
* Since it looks like NH and Hibernate are merging at JBoss (including the docs, I guess) is this something that you guys don't need help with anymore? Or something that should wait until the transition to JBoss is complete?

Your help is welcome !

Even if NHibernate is merging with Hibernate, there will still be a .NET specific part in the documentation (about issues when developing Windows / Web Applications and about NHibernate tools).

I am currently in charge of the documentation.

Can you give me more details about your experience with .NET, NHibernate and DocBook?

Certainly. Would you like me to give that info here, via pm, email, instant message?

I think that we can continue through e-mails.
