I have a table user with the following fields:

PK usu_id
usu_username
usu_name

usu_username field has a unique index created.

the mapping for the user class would be the following:

Code:

<class name="User" table="user">
  <id name="Id" column="usu_id" unsaved-value="0">
    <generator class="hilo"></generator>
  </id>

  <property name="UserName" column="usu_username" type="string" unique="true">

...etc
</class>

Example:

Database state:
Code:
ID           USERNAME             NAME
445             test           test name

When I try to deliberately add a new user with the same username (test)

[code]
//I
