I know this has probably been asked a thousand times but when is this project going to be moved from beta status?

If the code is production ready (excluding the documentation) then I think it would be beneficial to the project as a whole to be released soon as version 1.0. NHibernate will get a lot more use, developer input, improvements and recognition, if it could just get over the line.

Could the doco be made a separate sub-project whilst it is being completed? I am using the Java doco extensively now anyway...

Also, in my experience, especially in the Microsoft world, the label "beta" has a lot of historical baggage and it is very hard to sell to a client the benefits of using beta software.

Apologies for the rave but I love Hibernate and want to use it on a myriad of projects - can someone give me at least a timeframe for reaching version 1.0??
