I have been evaluating NHibernate for our use in a large project...
This is begining to look like a show stopper!!!
Having to base a large portion of the datatypes on a specific providers code is not a good option - especially if there is a need in the future to change the ORM.

What you need to do then is create an entry in NHibernate's issue tracker to add support for the .NET 2.0 framework, in particular Nullable Types, and then vote on it. This will help the team prioritize their development. :)

Hey since I want these features too, I made an entry: http://jira.nhibernate.org/browse/NH-338

So go there and vote on it to show your desire for this enhancement.[/url]
