Hy there, I posted this as an issue on the jira but nobody gave me a reply so I thought it must be already implemented somehow.

My question is: how can I use constants in the select clause of HQL. For know I have solved this problem using some home-made utility class to reparse a result set and to insert the column value at a given position.

So, is there any way to express null values, integers, strings or date-time values in the select clause?

Thank you,
Dragos

I don't think it's implemented, and nobody replied probably because we are all busy :) I think doing it manually is the best way.
