Hi dear forum members,

I'm fairly new to nhibernate so please bear with me if it's a very stupid question....
As far as I've seen it's pretty easy to control if a column is updated or not through the mapping xml.

But what if I want to generally update the column, but sometimes not? (because sometimes I just don't have the original value for certain columns and so I only want to update data I have...)

How could I tell nhibernate to ignore certain columns when calling "session.Update(entity)" ?
