Hi,

Is it possible to send commands to db before Saving the object?

1. I am using sql server 2005, and before inserting/selecting would like to set:
set lock_timeout and xact_abort.
It would be nice, because using this method I can alleviate the problem with
locks on db resources.

2. What is more, I know that i can set timeout for Criteria, but can i do it
for Save method?
