Hi,

I have to copy an existing object to a new instance and initialize the primary key to 0 so that it saves as a new entry in the table, but the problem I am facing is that it does not allow me to change the Primary key, it says that cannot alter the identifier from 123 to 0. I am working with asp.net mvc.

It says a Hibernate exception.

Kindly help me.

Mk
