Was macht die org.hibernate.Transaction-Methode "public void rollback()"?

In der Doku steht "Force the underlying transaction to roll back.". Was bedeutet das?

naja. d.h. dass alle Änderungen in der Datenbank seit dem letzten commit rückgängig gemacht werden.

Wichtig und oft missverstanden: Es wird NUR auf der Datenbank ein rollback gemacht. Alle deine Objekte bleiben unberührt, d.h. sie behalten ihren 'schmutzigen' Zustand.

Wenn man im Speicher auch ein Rollback haben will hilft eigentlich nur: Objekte wegwerfen, Session wegwerfen; neue Session, Objekte neu laden.
