Hallo

Was macht folgender property genau?
<property name="current_session_context_class">thread</property>

Was hat man davon, wenn man den second-level-cach deaktiviert?
<property>name="cache.provider_class">org.hibernate.cache.NoCacheProvider</property>

Was ist genau die idle Time in C3P0?

1)
speichert die Session in einem ThreadLocal. Man kann dann mit getCurrentSession immer wieder auf die gleiche Session zugreifen.

2)
man hat keinen Second Level Cache. Manchmal sind in den Annotation Cache konfiguriert und dort kann man das einfach global deaktiveren.

3)
C3P0 hat eine sehr gute Dokumentation.
