Hallo,

ich habe eine kurze Frage zum Mapping von Attributen vom Typ java.math.BigDecimal mit dem Hibernate-Typ big_decimal: Ist es notwendig bzw. sinnvoll dort einen Wert für Scale und Precision anzugeben?

Diese Angaben werden für die Tabellen-Erzeugung verwendet. Bei diesem Typen bin ich mir nicht sicher, aber das kannst Du recht gut testen, indem Du die Tabelle erstellst.

Scale und Precision werden für die Vor- und Nachkommastellen verwenden, wenn also wenn Nachkommastellen benötigt werden, dann Scale angeben, Prescision für Vorkommastellen.
