Hi all.

I want to know if an hibernate-annotated POJO must to implent Serializable interface.

Generally my POJOs do that, but I have seen that it seems to work if not. So it is mandatory, advisably or what?

Auto-reply...

Hi all. I have been reading the (holy) bible "Java Persistence with Hibernate" and I have seen this (page 68):

Quote:
Hibernate doesn’t require that persistent classes implement Serializable. However,
when objects are stored in an HttpSession or passed by value using RMI, serialization
is necessary. (This is very likely to happen in a Hibernate application.)

See you soon.
