Hi,

I'm using hibernate for a few years.
The two biggest limitation of hibernate for me are:
1) the FK and PK columns must match, if your PK has two columns the FK must also have two columns.
In some cases that is not possible.
2) HQL doesn't support left outer joins to unmapped tables.

In openJPA you have non-standard joins that will solve my problems.

My question is if I need to move to openJPA or will hibernate support non-standard joins in the future.

Thanks in advance,
Pieter
