My organization is using a web-based (Websphere) application with Hibernate. The application is associated with an Oracle 10gR2 database. The application is hosted on a server that also hosts about 16 other applications. Over the past 30 days, the application has been unavailable due to JDBC connnection time outs. The connection pool (10 connections) becomes saturated and will not release the connections. The server team is claiming that the culprit might be Hibernate. Is this possible?

Thanks,
AJ
