Hello,
I have a parent with a @OneToMany as well as a few @ManyToMany. Can I write an HQL statement to say

Code:
delete from parent.child where child.id=:id

I just want to destroy the relationship, not delete the child itself.

If so, how would I do so? Does anyone have any examples?

Doing so in native SQL is really easy. I assume it's preferrable to do it in HQL so the caching doesn't get confused.

Thanks in advance,
Steven
