hi all

i am writing data container for component in web application. it must provide all IDs of huge amount of data at initialization stage.
my container receive org.hibernate.Query object in constructor.

i dont want to fetch all the data because i use lazy loading. so i browsing data set by pages. but how can i receive all column with ID without rest of the data using api?

ps of course i can concatenate query string with "select id_column "+from_and_further. but it is hardcode and i must work out case if there is select clause in initial string.
