I've googled arround, searched 1000 of places but can not find the clue...

I want to setup hibernate-utilities from eclipse. (not yet build the application)
I followed JPA examples
and know I need meta-inf\persistence.xml, even the contend is clear to me

What I can not find is where to place that Meta-INF\ directory
So I placed it all over my project .... with and without explicit mentioning in the Console Configuration file .....

If CAN NOT FIND MY persistence.xml...

I need Help please where do I put Meta-inf\ persistende.xml

absolute location ? Relative location from project ? from something else
from src ? somewhere in classes ??? //Bin ??? in nthe root ????
do the tools alter the location to search for or are they ignoring tje Persistence unit ....

Where do eclipse plugins look for it
Where does the runtime look for it ??

To me it seems a wilderness, Im searching without a clue and I'm just losing time

Additional question:
as I have a persistence .xml
can someone explain why I need to specify mey login user name and password

in my Datadescripter DefaultDS ?
Hibernate,cfg
Hibernate.properties
in all my connection structures
in persistence.xml

My username and password are distributed all over the place now , killing all security and possibilities for maintenance

Where does hibernate realy look/eclipse realy look....

I'm using seam applications so so the problem is multiplied by 3 another time

Thanks in advance
