Hi everyone. Given this simple many-to-one associate from mapping file X

<many-to-one name="alert" column="ALERT_KEY" class="Alert" not-null="false"/>

Why does Hibernate generate a foreign key constraint from X to Alert when I specified not-null="false". According to the Hibernate docs, not-null="false" on a many-to-one should prevent the creation of a FK constraint.
