Hi All,
Can anyone tell me the diff. between Hql vs Criteria queries...and why Hql is still considere and preffered over Criteria...

any reply would be appreciable..

Hi Shivam,

I would really suggest u to refer chap 13 (Optimizing Fetching & Caching) and 14 from "Java Persistence with Hibernate". After reading the stuff (atleast refer chap 13 if its quick for u) u can easily identify proper need for usage of HQL/ Criteria API.
