 Post subject: Use Generator increment on a normal property

Hi,

I am aware of the increment generator for ID columns .. I would
require the same behavoir for a normal property.
My domain object has a property "Number" which should always be
highest value + 1 on insert... Is there any nice solution?

I dont think we can use increment generator for normal property. but there is way to do that..that is using formula.

thanks you are right. i have set update="false" and am using the formula...
