I'm looking for a ZIP file containing the full source code of "Hibernate Core v. 3.3.1". I would like to attach it as source of hibernate3.jar in Eclipse so that I can look into the code of single Hibernate classes without decompiling them.

Unfortunately, I was not able to find such a download. Maybee I just didn't see it? In the hibernate-distribution-3.3.1.GA-dist.zip the source seems to be included but the directory structure is not suitable for Eclipse (the source files are distributed over several directories e.g. core/src/main/java, jmx/src/main/java, cache-ehcache/src/main/java etc., instead of being contained in a single "src" directory).

Can someone give me a hint?

I think for hibernate3.jar you just want the src directory under project/core.

No, that's not complete. For example, the "org.hibernate.jmx" package is missing.
