My java app that accesses a large db using hibernate, keeps growing in memory-size, as the program proceeds. I suspect that this is happening because of hibernate cache. Is tehre a way to limit hibernate's cache size? I have already put of second level cache using:

<property name="hibernate.cache.use_second_level_cache">false</property>

Thanks!

Are you using a single HibernateSession (one instance for a user) for the "entire" process?
