I need to link a row in a table with another row in the same table. can you tell me if this is achievable?
is it possible to have a mapping table that shows that records that are linked for example record1 is linked to record2 etc.

Example:
I have a parent table called "student_records" which has "student_record_id" column as primary key.

now I need a association mapping table which shows student_record_id1 is linked to student_record_id2 ?
like Bidirectional associations with join tables
