I'm getting IllegalArgumentException when trying to update database using hibernate.

Below is the code which will update AERequest table.
AERequest requestFromDB = (AERequest)session.load(AERequest.class,objAERequest.getRequestId());

You are sure that objAERequest.getRequestId() it is not null and it has same type as the id mapping for AERequest.class?
