I need help to create a hbm file from multiple tables. We are revamping our existing systems. So need to create a hbm file from multiple tables. Can i use hibernate tools to auto generate this.How do i do this ?

Hibernate has a tool called Middlegen which is used for generating hbm mapping files from existing DB. You can use Middlegen to generate a mapping skeleton from database metadata and then refine the mappings by hand.
