I'm investigating a possible memory leak in an application and after analyzing the heap dump generated using -XX:+HeapDumpOnOutOfMemoryError
JVM option and i have a couple of suspects. one of them is org.hibernate.stat.StatisticsImpl.queryStatistics HashMap.
It looks like when org.hibernate.jmx.StatisticsService.statisticsEnabled=true all query strings get logged to queryStatistics Map
There is a clear method in org.hibernate.stat.StatisticsImpl that reset all statistics but i don't see this method being called other than when some one calls org.hibernate.jmx.StatisticsService.clear()
Does any more information about this?
Thanks!
