Hi

Is there a standard way of mapping a name-pair value in Hibernate? I know that traditionally you would use a map but I believe maps aren't permitted in JPA.

Basically I have an object "Company" and a company has a collection of customizations that it can have. The customisation "collection" has the following:

branding = "XYZ"
print_option = "123"

We have done this before using maps but like I said is there a standard way of doing or any other way of doing this without maps?

Cheers
