Hi,

I'm searching the function to validate the datamodel in the database through hibernate on startup. If the model does not meet the hbm files hibernate does not start or prints out an error (not sure about that).

I've used that function in old projects I have no access and I can't remember the syntax. I remember it was a attribute in the hbm files.

Can anyone give me a hint?

Thx in forward

Ben

I guess I have it.

I guess its the hbm2ddl.auto function.

Possible Values are:

validate | update | create | create-drop
