I'm just start with Hibernate and therefore I use the book "Java Persistence with Hibernate". In the book they refer to the lib/README.txt file of the distribution package, to know wich are the required libraries.

When I look in the distribution package I couldn't find that particular README.txt file. Can someone tell me where I can find a list of required libraries? I use the hibernate-distribution-3.3.1.GA.

Or am I using a wrong version of Hibernate?

Hi,
when you unzip/untar the hibernate distribution you can find the required libraries under

Code:

hibernate-distribution-3.3.1.GA/lib/required

note that you also need hibernate3.jar under

Code:

hibernate-distribution-3.3.1.GA/

I thought that there where some more requiered libraries, then those in the required directory, because in the book they give a lot more.

That's why I asked that question here.
