At Serenity we are building out our core team, and we are in need of a full-time person to go on site for one of our Atlanta based clients. Since 1997, Serenity has been in a growth mode, and have had 100% growth each year for the past four years! We currently have over 150 consultants working in several key practices to include, Java, .Net, Peoplesoft, BI, DW, and QA. Our US Headquarters is based in Atlanta, and we have offices in Pleasanton, CA. our global delivery team is in Hyderabad, India, and are expected to open our London, UK office some time in Q1 2009.

We are a very dynamic company with dynamic and demanding clients, so we only are looking for the best of the best in this position, and in this role there is no exception. You will be reporting into the CTO of our company, and will be the JAVA ARCHITECT on this client engagement. We have included the *laundry list* of skills needed (see below) and the *MUST HAVES* are just that!
* Candidate must have experience in working with multiple aspects of software development life cycle * Technical analysis, Design, Development, Unit test, Code reviews, Code Integration, Deployment, Unit Testing and Bug fixing.
* 3+ years of experience in creating the high level and low level module designs:
o Ideal candidate would have authored and published design documents.
o Must be able to create sequence and class diagrams based on the use case specifications and system architecture.
o Must be able to create data models based on use cases.
* 6+ years of programming experience in multi-tiered architecture including EJB3, Web Services, JSP, and XML
* Candidate must be proficient in using frameworks * Struts 2.0/1.x, Spring 2.x/1.x and Hibernate 3.x.
* Candidate must have implemented design patterns such as service locator, business delegate, front controller, session faade and so on.
* Candidate should have experience in both publishing and consuming web services.
* Experience in design and development of system interfaces with legacy systems (Mainframe) * Messaging (JMS), real time (Web services), and batch feeds
* Should be willing to learn and work on new areas as needed, must be a team player
* Candidate must have experience working with Oracle databases and SQL.


The interview process is fairly simple! You will first be screened by our internal team, and then the client will also interview you as well on the phone- then shortly after a face-to-face discussion with our client, and then the offer and start date! You will need to pass an extensive background investigation (including criminal, credit, etc*). Our client does offer a one day offsite workday from home during the week, and this is a 40 hour work week.
