Hi,

I repeatedly select same records from DB, and hit cache, but the references to the objects are always new ones.
It seems that Hibernate returns a cloned/copied object from 2nd level cache.

Is there an option to get same object from 2nd level cache?

Please help!

Thanks.

Yes, and that is expected because the second-level cache is a cache of values only, not entities.

It is not possible since it is not the entities that are in the cache.
