 Post subject: Return a HashMap from Hibernate DAO findAll() method

I have a table with columns such as ID, DATE, AMOUNT, DESCRIPTION.
I want the Hibernate DAO's findAll() method to return me a HashMap with the ID as key and AMOUNT as values.
Would anyone please direct me how to do this?
