Hi,

Does anyone know the reason why Hibernate changed the default bytecode library to Javassist in the latest release??

Is there a performance benchmark to prove which one is better??
I've googled it but haven't found any good resource.

Regards,
Vitor.

From the discussions in JIRA it seems that the Hibernate developers got worried about the development of cglib. See
