I want to define some views as elided selects of some of the tables for our ecommerce database. We successfully use Hibernate with the Spring framework for ecommerce. I found only scant documentation on View definitions in the existing on-line manuals. Has any one had experience using Hibernate and MySql views? Did they work? What constraints did you run into?
