I am using Hibernate with teradata. With every query hibernate internally reads the schema meta data for the mapped table and it is causing performance problem as metadata reading is very expensive in tera data. I have mapped all fields in my java class to database column. Is there a way to prevent hibernate from reading the schema (internally) with every database query.

Thanks
David Chen
